Job Purpose
To provide technical expertise and support in the implementation of PNG projects, ensuring that all engineering activities adhere to design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. The Projects Engineer is responsible for overseeing on-site work, resolving technical difficulties, and keeping accurate documentation, all of which contribute to project success and timeliness while supporting the project team’s overall goals.

Project Execution And Support
- Assist with execution of PNG, including site preparation, equipment’s installation, & commissioning, ensuring that all tasks are accomplished in accordance with projects plan & timeframes.
- Collaborate with the Projects Lead to ensure that all engineering activities adhere to design specifications, safety regulations, & quality expectation.
- Conduct on site inspections & assessments to track progress, identify potential concerns, and ensure that all works meet technical specification.
- Prepare & update precise engineering drawings, technical papers, and projects plans to ensure accuracy and conformity with industry specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure that supplies &services needed for project completion arrive on time.
Technical Support & Problem Solving
- Provide technical support to project team by troubleshooting & resolving engineering issues that develop throughout project lifecycle.
- Analyze and review technical data, drawings, & requirement to help make decisions and ensure projects activities are completed successfully.
- Implement engineering solution to handle on site difficulties while minimizing impact to project timeline & budgets.

Quality Control & Assurance
- Monitor & implement quality control procedure throughout the projects, ensuring that all work fulfills necessary standard & requirements.
- Conduct regular inspection & tests on materials, equipment’s, and systems to ensure they meet projects specifications & industry laws.
- Documents and report any quality concern or nonconformities, & collaborate with projects team to implement remedial action to avoid recurrence.
- Assist in the creation of quality assurance strategy & procedures, ensuring that they are properly implemented & followed during projects execution.
