- Visit official website of CSIR NPL,& download prescribed application form.
- Fill out form accurately.Details such as candidate name, date of birth,& parents names should match information mention in Matriculation/SSC certificate.
- Affix recent passport size coloured photograph in Part-I of application form & sign partially across photograph.Attach another recent passport size photo in Part-II without signature.
- Applicants belonging to the General/OBC/EWS category must prepare a Demand Draft of Rs. 500 from any nationalised bank with a minimum validity of three months. The DD should be drawn in favour of “Director, National Physical Laboratory” payable at New Delhi. Candidates should mention their name and post code on the reverse side of the DD.

What is the Educational Qualification for CSIR NPL Technician 2026?
The required educational qualification is identical for all six trade categories.Applicants can qualify through any one of following methods:
Option 1 – ITI Qualification:
Candidates have passed SSC/10th,or equivalent examination with Science subjects & secured at least 55% marks, along with ITI certificate or National/State Trade Certificate in related trade.
*Option 2* – Apprenticeship Qualification:
Candidate have complete SSC/10th,or equivalent with Science subjects & minimum of 55% marks,along with two years of full time apprenticeship training from recognised institution in relevant trade.
Option 3 – Experience Qualification:
Applicants have passed SSC/10th,or equivalent with Science subjects & minimum 55% marks,along with 03 years of work experience in concern trade in any Ministry,Department, Organisation, PSU,or Autonomous Body under Central, State, or UT Government.
