Responsibilities for Data Center Technicians Internship
- Support the establishment of on-site datacenter physical infrastructure.
- Install,repair,& troubleshoot cables and hardware.
- Handle data bearing devices (such as hard discs,solid state drives,and so on).
- Work in a ticket-based workplace.
- Pallet jacks or other types of aided lifting equipment can be used to move equipment.
- As needed, support the Datacenter Inventory and Asset Management Team (DIAT) with shipping/receiving and inventory management to handle high workloads.
- Embrace our culture and principles.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Age Limit minimum 18 years.
- A basic understanding of computer hardware & components.
- Must be interested in supporting IT equipment or similar technology.
- Studying for a necessary technical qualification.
- You must be Indian citizen or resident,as well as be eligible to work in India.
Background Check Requirements:
- This function requires the ability to pass security screenings by Microsoft, customers, and/or the government. These specifications include, but are not limited to, the following specialised security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: Upon hire/transfer, this position must pass a Microsoft Cloud background check, which will be repeated every two years thereafter.
Preferred qualifications:
- Certifications required include CompTIA (A+, Server+, and Network+), as well as Basic Structure Cabling (BSC).
- Capability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights, with or without equipment aid.
- Capable of communicating successfully with multiple parties.
- Proficient in written and spoken English communication to assist regional and global teams.
- Want to learn,progress,& develop new technical abilities.
- Flexibility to work outside of typical business hours,which may include weekends &/or holidays.
