Exam Pattern – MCL Foreman and Technician Recruitment 2026
Recruitment process will be conducted through Computer Based Test CBT only.There will be no personal interview stage.
CBT will feature objective type question in multiple choice format.Applicants will not be penalize for incorrect answers.instructions provide during examination will be available in both English and Hindi.

Selection Process
Selection process for post of Assistant Foreman Electrician Technician will be conducted in multiple stages as outline below:
1 Computer Based Test (CBT):
Candidates who meets eligibility criteria based on self declaration will be invited to appear for Computer Based Test CBT.Verification of eligibility detail will be carried out after CBT results are announce.
- Document Verification:
Candidate will be shortlisted for documents verification in ratio of 1:3 base on performance in CBT.In case of equal marks,preference will be given to older candidate (based on date of birth), followed by alphabetical order of names if require.

Selected candidate must undergo an Initial Medical Examination IME at designated hospital.Final joining will be subject to meeting the required medical standards.The minimum height requirement is 60 inches,except for candidates applying for the Assistant Foreman Electrical (Trainee), T&S Grade-C post in cases of dwarfism.
Career Growth
For the position of Assistant Foreman Electrical (E&M),Candidates future career progression to T&S Grade-B & higher role will be contingent upon obtaining Electrical Supervisorship Certificate of Competency that valid for mining operationsin accordance with applicable cadre schemes.
For position of Technician Electrician (E&M),Applicants recruited as trainees in Category-III will promoted to Electrician Category-IV upon successful completion of 1year of training within E&M cadre.
